Hello lovelies! I just wanted to do a really quick post about the growth I have received in about a month. I don’t know if it’s just me but it looks significant especially in such a short amount of time. What do you think?
Now I’m not really into checking for inches or centimeters; I prefer photo comparisons. All I have been doing is remaining consistent with my hair regimen. I have been making many minor adjustments but overall I believe me being consistent on my own personal hair care is huge factor on all this growth. I’ve also been participating in two hair growth challenges and I’ll show you the results of that when both challenges are over. Here are some changes I’ve made and some tips to follow:
1. Drink Water & Eat Healthier Meals
Now I’m no vegetarian (I tried for two weeks and that’s just not the life for me yet lol) but you get what you put in. Believe it or not your diet has an effect on your hair and scalp! Eat foods that are high in protein and biotin like spinach, eggs, beans, etc. Make sure you are drinking enough water throughout the day. Divide your weight by two and that’s how much water you should be consuming in ounces. Working out is also a must! (I’m a definitely a work in progress 😅)
2. Scalp Massages
THIS IS ESSENTIAL TO HAIR GROWTH. Seriously guys I can’t tell you how beneficial this has been to my hair and scalp. Massage your scalp on a daily basis. While your doing so you are stimulating the blood cells underneath and these nutrients that you have consumed throughout the day. I highly suggest buying a scalp massaging shampoo brush only because it feels amazing lol plus it’s easier! Doing this for 3-5 minutes will be fine.
3. Castor Oil 💖💖💖
Y’all I have found the holy grail for my hair! I’ve always known about this oil but I overlooked it a lot and was so wrapped up in coconut oil. My hair loves castor oil. It moisturizers and strengthens my hair plus it repairs split ends so I don’t have to trim as often 🙌🏾. This oil also promotes hair growth and thickens hair as well. I prefer the all natural processed oil straight from Ayiti (Haiti) but my stash ran out so I’ve been using the Tropic Isle Living brand.
That’s all folks! Stay tuned for my next post which will explain my hair regimen. Comment and or like for questions, concerns, etc. Happy growing! 😍
Reminder: You are HIS 💖
