🌺 Product Review: Cantu ACV Root Rinse + Tea Tree Oil

Have you ever impulsively bought a product hoping it would work…and it did?! Well that is what happened to me yesterday! I just decided to go to Walmart and found this gem. I just took down my crochet braids yesterday so I was looking for a product that would unclog my hair follicles and remove all the build up that accumulated on my scalp. The product I bought was the new Cantu Apple Cider Vinegar Root Rinse. It claims to cleanse, condition, and soothe the scalp. It also nourishes roots to promote healthy hair growth and moisturizes dry, brittle hair.

This product is perfect for those who need an alternative for shampoo but don’t want to use anything too harsh as well. After taking my crochet braids out, I put this directly on my scalp without wetting my hair. I instantly knew this was going to be a staple product. Guys this defined my curls like crazy and I didn’t even put anything on my hair! The only downside about this product is the consistency; it has a slimy slippery texture with a light lather. I used so much of this product and I didn’t realize until after because of how slippery it was. Looks like I am going to have to stock up on this one. It also left a tingling sensation on my scalp so it was very soothing. I highly recommend this! Below is how my hair looked after rinsing out the product.
